What's different about working in Flower Mound.
Water is the recurring problem. Larger lots with real slope mean that after a hard rain, water goes somewhere — usually toward a foundation, a bed, or a low corner of the yard that stays soft for a week. More of our Flower Mound work starts as a drainage call than anything else, and a surprising amount of it gets misdiagnosed by people who quote before they've watched where the water actually runs.
Mature trees change the calculation. Trees that were young when the neighborhood was built are now big enough to shade out turf, crack a walkway, or drop a limb on a roof. Half of what we do here is staying ahead of that rather than repairing after it.
The Town maintains a registered contractor list and requires permits for structural outdoor work. Check any contractor against it — it's public, it's free to search, and it's the fastest way to filter out anyone working off the books.
Questions we get from Flower Mound homeowners
Before you call.
My yard holds water after every storm. Is that a drainage job or a grading job?
Often both, and the order matters. We'd rather come look at it during or right after a rain than guess from a dry yard — where the water actually goes is rarely where people assume.
Can you take down a tree that's close to the house?
Yes, including ones too large or too close to a structure for routine trimming, with stump grinding and haul-off. If it needs to come down in sections we'll tell you what that adds.
Do you handle the permit?
We pull it. Structural outdoor work in Flower Mound generally requires one, and a contractor suggesting otherwise is telling you something about how they work.
